Every once in a while social media will remind you that life is good.  This morning this picture, as well as the post by Macy Lauren Lewis, ripped my heart out.  What impact does it have on you?  Your comments?

A pleasant event occurred this evening, my children, my wife, and I converged on the living room with nothing in particular planned.  Much to our surprise, 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' was on the television.

We need a modern day John Wayne!  Where have all the heroes gone?

There is nothing like seeing someone give from the heart even when they don't really have. The only thing better is to see that same person receive after their willingness for self-sacrifice.

Your remember your first Bike, don't you?  It was your ticket to the next block, and eventually to the store to buy penny candy, and even to your best friends house for a sleep over.

On the 9th of December, Police in Spartanburg, South Carolina had a disturbing 911 call. It was anything but your typical emergency.  They were called to a residence to break up a family fight . . . over DECORATING THE CHRISTMAS TREE.

I remember as a child living in a small two bedroom country home, just on the Oklahoma/Missouri line outside of Seneca, Missouri.   That wonderful smell of the tree that dad and I went out into the woods and cut down for Christmas, granted it was just a common cedar tree, but it gave a great sense of a the season and left a life long impression of what a Christmas Tree should be.

Picking a name for a baby can be tough, so maybe this study will help.

Everyday when I turn on the television, radio, or read a paper it seems that I am overwhelmed with the negative stories of the day that remind me of the evil in the world, but not today.  Thank God for stories like this one, they give hope that good hearted kindness is still out there, that there is hope.

I did some research to find out when this #30DaysofThanksgiving started on Facebook and the best I can tell is it has been going on since 2009. Was there even a Facebook back then?
