Civilians and military personnel will gather together to offer a heartfelt goodbye to Fort Sill's own 77th Army Band this month before the group officially disbands in October.

One thing that I've never been able to get into my holiday schedule is the Candlelight Stroll in the Old Post Quadrangle at Fort Sill. This year I'm going to make it happen.

The 77th Army Band will present its Salute to Veterans concert at 2 p.m. this Sunday, November 13 at the McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris Ave in Lawton. The concert is free and open to the public.

FORT SILL, OK – The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, the Tree Growers Association, and Fed Ex Freight has teamed up to provide and deliver real Christmas trees to military families on Dec. 11 at the Fort Sill Recycling Center. Distribution of the trees will begin on Dec. 12 from 7:30a.m. to 5:00p.m and continue if trees are left on Dec. 13 during normal business hours.
