The 2013 holiday movie "So This is Christmas" was shot in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was written by Tulsa's own Richard Foster and Deborah Foster and was directed by Richard Foster. It stars Lexi Ainsworth who's from Oklahoma City. So not only was it filmed in Oklahoma it was written and directed by Tulsans and even starred a native Oklahoman from OKC, how cool is that? It's pure homegrown Sooner State movie magic!

When you watch the movie you'll recognize several locations from Tulsa, OK. including the Spotlight Theater, Will Rogers High School, and River Parks. "So This is Christmas" also stars Eric Roberts who plays Ashely's (Lexi Ainsworth) dad, the lovely and talented Vivica A. Fox is the stepmother. It's an incredibly talented cast.

"Eighteen-year-old Ashley's life is headed in the wrong direction. She's been hanging out with a bad crowd and seeking an escape from the drama at home. Everything begins to change when a handyman working on the family's house encourages her to volunteer for a Christmas play with underprivileged children. Ashley finds purpose by helping people in need and uses that to help heal her troubled family. Together, they discover the impact one person can make through the gift of giving."
