The Comanche County Community Baby Shower is coming up on Friday, May 15 in Lawton for local families, and the event is currently seeking vendors and sponsors.

The annual Community Baby Shower is hosted by the Comanche County Health Department, Fit Kids of Southwest Oklahoma, and other local organizations and businesses. The Community Baby Shower is geared towards providing baby items and local resources for expecting mothers, families and caregivers for children 5 and younger.

The Community Baby Shower is open to all Comanche County residents.

The Community Baby Shower is typically hosted in Lawton, but it is open to all Comanche County residents who would benefit. This year's Community Baby Shower will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 15 at the FISTA Innovation Park, located on the west side of Central Plaza, at 200 SW C Ave.

Vendors and sponsors sought for the Comanche County Community Baby Shower.

Vendors and sponsorships are needed for the Community Baby Shower. Vendors needed include nonprofit or service providers that provide support for families, maternal families, and early childhood development. The Community Baby Shower would give vendors an opportunity to educate local families on services available to them in Comanche County.

Sponsors are also needed to help fund the Community Baby Shower. Donations would help provide supplies, giveaways, and local resources to Comanche County families. Vendors and sponsors interested in being a part of the Community Baby Shower are encouraged to email fitkidsofswok@gmail.com.
