Oklahoma’s Fall Weather Brings Surprising Temperature Swings
Fall has officially arrived in Oklahoma! Well, for most of the state. A cold front and rain started moving into Oklahoma early Monday morning, and the northern half woke up with rain and temperatures in the 60s. Southern Oklahoma will still be warm Monday but by Tuesday, fall will be in full force across the state.
I-40 will be the divider for fall temperatures Monday across Oklahoma. The northern half of the state will see daytime highs in the upper 60s and low 70s Monday. But those south of I-40 will still have summer-like temperatures with daytime highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Oklahoma will warm back up mid-week before a second cold front.
A majority of the state will see those fall-like temperatures on Tuesday with daytime highs across the state topping out in the upper 70s. Wednesday and Thursday will warm back up before another cold front moves through Oklahoma and will bring temperatures back into the 70s before the weekend.
