Find Out When You’ll Be Getting Your Stimulus Check

So, did you get your stimulus check yet? A lot of people received their payments over the weekend, myself included. I really didn't think that I would get mine until much later, at least that's how its worked the past few times anyway. Normally I end up being in the back of the line and everyone I know has already gotten their stimulus checks, then I eventually get mine. If you have direct deposit set up and the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) has your banking information on file you'll get it a whole lot faster versus a paper check by mail. I was surprised to say the least when I checked my account and it was there. I guess it was my turn to be first. 

If you didn't get your "Stimmy" this past weekend it's on the way, you should have it in the next couple of days or weeks if you're set up for direct deposit. To check on the status of your stimulus check you can visit the "Get My Payment" portal for all the details. It's the same website the IRS set up awhile back during the first round of stimulus checks. Just type in your information and it will let you know when you can expect to get your payment. You can also get all the details on how to set up your banking information with the IRS and direct deposit to receive your check faster. Otherwise you'll have to wait for them to process a paper check.

Hopefully if you haven't gotten yours yet, you'll get it real soon. I didn't think I'd have mine until much later, but it was definitely a welcomed surprise. We've got some BIG PLANS for the money and hope to use some of it fixing up our house. Do some painting and exterior facelifts and repairs. Of course each member of the family can blow some on whatever they want as well. After all it's a stimulus check and we want to do our part to help stimulate the economy. It's a tough job, but I think we're up for the challenge!
