Oklahomans looking for places to stay, eat and play in the Sooner State will tune in to the Facebook group Oklahoma Day Trips. The group has nearly half a million members and most of them are Oklahomans.

Recently, a member of the group put together a list of 500 to 1,000 recommendations for the best chicken fried steak, fried chicken and fried catfish in the state of Oklahoma. All of these recommendations came from various Oklahoma Day Trips Facebook group users.

And the list is LONG! So we're just looking at the best places in Oklahoma for fried catfish. We looked through the list from Oklahoma Day Trips and included the most mentioned restaurants, respectively, for the best chicken fried steak in Oklahoma.
