‘Flat Stanley’ Joins the Morning Crew at KLAW 101 [PHOTOS]

To tell you the truth, when my Sister asked if we could have Flat Stanley in the studio for a school project for her Grandson Chandler, I said sure before I had any idea who or what Flat Stanley was.

Actually Flat Stanley landed on the scene 50 years ago, and has been helping little boys and girls like Chandler learn Geography and Social Studies by having his picture taken all over the world, and in the presence of famous (or infamous) people.  The version of Flat Stanley that came to us actually looks like little Chandler who attends Pine Tree Hill Elementary School in Camden South Carolina.

Flat Stanley will be returning to South Carolina very soon, but for today he was part of our Morning here on KLAW 101.
