Spring is still here, but summer is right around the corner! In preparation for the season, the Lawton City Council has approved a new price list for the city's new Aquatic Center, which will open for its second season on Memorial Day this year.

Lawton's new Aquatics Center officially opened on August 16 last year, and remained open through September 26. Since it was a short season, the admission prices and memberships were set based on that timeframe.

On Tuesday, April 14, the City of Lawton's Parks and Recreation Department submitted a new price list for the Aquatics Center to reflect a full season. According to an article from The Lawton Constitution, the City Council approved the proposed rates.
