Fort Sill Update With Garrison Commander COL Paul Hossenlopp

Today's Fort Sill Update  touched on several topics with a different spokesperson.  MG Mark McDonald was traveling today and asked the Garrison Commander to fill in for him.  COL Hossenlopp's military career actually began right here at Ft. Sill as  the Battery Executive Officer, Assistant S3, and Battalion S1 during deployment to Southwest Asia as part of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Topics for today's Update included:

• Recent Concert starring Alan Jackson at Ft. Sill's Polo Field.  Over 9,000 guests attended the concert, and COL Hossenlopp even made an announcement of another concert coming up next month starring Brad Paisley!
• Movies on the Beach at LETRA, this Saturday, July 7.  Free and concessions are available.  This week showing the animated film "Open Season".  More movies planned all summer long.
• Monday Reveille Cermony will welcome new Air Defense Artillery School Commandant, COL Don Fryc.  Ceremony scheduled at McNair Hall at 9am.
• Tuesday, July 10, Change of Responsibility, McNair Hall, 9am.  Changing responsibilities, BG Glen Moore and BG Mark Anderson
• Make plans for the Patriot Club's monthly Sunday Brunch, July 15, 2012.  Reservations required by July 10 by calling 442-5300.  Cost $18 for club members and $18.50 for non members.
