Downtown Lawton comic book shops are celebrating Free Comic Book Day by giving away free comic books!

I have always loved comics.  I read mostly Archie comics (I dreamed of being Betty), but I have also read the DC Comics top hero, Superman.  My son loves the Marvel comics, with heroes like Iron Man, X-Men, Thor.  To tell you the truth, I didn't know the difference between DC and Marvel until I talked to the local comic books shop owner Karen Edwards! For example did you know that DC used to stand for Detective Comics, and that DC comics paid only $130 for the original drawing of Superman?
