The International Festival in Lawton, Oklahoma, is coming up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It's a weekend filled with celebrating different cultures through food, dance and community. This year the International Festival will feature two stages for all day entertainment and evening headliners.

The International Festival will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 with the Parade of Nations. Following the opening ceremony, attendees can enjoy various food and shopping vendors, children's activities, art and more.

The International Festival will have entertainment all day on two stages during the festival. Daily entertainment will feature music and dance from local organizations and schools. The evening headliners are three professional bands celebrating various cultures.

The evening headliners include All Funk Radio Show at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the South Stage; Mariachi Las Altenas at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the South Stage; and Island Boogie Band at 3:30 p.m. on the South Stage.

The 2024 International Festival will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The International Festival is a free event at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton, Oklahoma. Parking is free with shuttle service included and is available at Elmer Thomas Park, the Museum of the Great Plains and the McMahon Memorial Auditorium. Festival hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
