Lemonade doesn't sound like a beverage that takes patience to master, but hard work reaps rewards. You don't just grab the drink mix in store and mix with water, that's cheating. You get lemons, juice them, and mix with water just like God intended. It's not hard, but can be time consuming until you become familiar with the most basic kitchen tools. Literally... You juice a few lemons, mix with water, call it good. It'll blow away anything you get in store, plus, it'll teach your kids the value of a dollar when they sell the real stuff on the corner (provided the fuzz hasn't shut them down for lacking permits and stuff)

"But what about the sugar?"

Sugar doesn't belong in lemonade. It's supposed to be sweet from a tart standpoint, not a melt-you-teeth-out kind of sweet treat. Also, if you don't like lemons, I like to do the same thing with limes. I much prefer it because you do get that little sweet hint. All the same, you could just mix the two together and call it homemade Sprite, but I'm sure the beverage giant will be here to sue all of us soon. Whatever you decide on, there's no shortage of time you have on your hands. It's not like we're all getting together for BBQ's and parties. Enjoy the lack of a social life while you can. Before too long, we'll all be back to making excuses to get out of stuff.

Also, when you do finally master making lemonade, you'll have no problem building those skills into other recipes like hot dog pie.
