A foot chase in the parking lot of a lake in Tyler Texas ends in a faceplant apparently as the result of the cop's TASER being deployed.

The video at the bottom of this article was posted to Twitter yesterday by @RadioRoma_ with the caption, "Just saw the craziest chase down by the police."

The Chase is On

The recording opens with a man running through the parking lot with three cops hot on his heels. But, he is running fast. Really fast. To the blind eye, it looks as if these three policemen will not have a chance in hell of catching him.

The Takeoff

Then, as soon as he crosses the path of a group of people, he launches forward. At first glance, it looks as if one of the people he's running by tripped him, but nobody's feet came anywhere near his. The cop, however, has his arm outstretched and is pointing what is most likely a TASER in the man's direction, so you do the math.

Look, we don't know what this individual did to get three cops chasing him, so maybe he deserved this or maybe he didn't, but this rascal landed on his face and slid several feet. It's gnarly to watch, so viewer discretion is advised.
