The video below features an incident at a bank in Houston Texas. A lady, we'll call her, oh I don't know... let's say, Karen, was refusing to wear a mask back in the Covid years. The bank asked her to leave and she refused, so they called the cops.

I'm the Main Character

Regardless of how you feel about wearing masks, a private business has a right to refuse service. Period. And once they've asked you to leave, it's the same as if you told someone to leave your house. You have to go or face the consequences. Karen here refused to leave after the officer asked her nicely several times.

She asks, "What are you going to do, arrest me?"

Resisting

The officer grabs her wrists at this point to handcuff her. Karen pulls away. If you know anything about the law, you know this is now resisting arrest, which can be a felony.

Cuffed

She begins putting up a fight, which is definitely a felony, and the officer takes her to the ground.

Here's a little advice. Even if you are sure you are right, do you really want to spend the night in jail? All she had to do was leave and come back in a mask. We know there will be people out there who think the officer took it too far, but you would be singing a different tune if it was someone on your property who wouldn't leave for whatever the reason.
