Last night, several universities had students coming together to remember Charlie Kirk. His Turning Point USA has several chapters across Texas.

By now, everyone has heard about the assassination of Charlie Kirk at a Utah campus yesterday afternoon. Charlie had been doing the same thing he has done at college campuses throughout the country. Engaging in a political debate on different topics with students on their campus. President Trump officially announced Kirk's death just before 4PM on September 10th. He released a statement last night as well.

Turning Point USA College Chapters in Texas

Since 2012, Turning Point USA has been advocating for more conservative politics on campuses throughout the country. They actually have chapters at a few high schools in Texas and on college campuses as well. You can check out the full list on the Turning Point website.

Texas A&M Prayer Vigil Last Night

Texas A&M is a campus that Charlie visited just earlier this year. Students gathered last night for a prayer vigil and another is scheduled tonight as well on campus. A&M was not the only student body that came together last night.

As of this posting, we're less than 24 hours since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Around 11AM, the FBI has released photos of a person of interest in the case. You can read more about them here. Utah police had arrested two different people yesterday, but they have since been released. As of right now, the manhunt is still underway for the shooter.
