There is no shortage of food challenges in the Sooner State, but getting notable people to show up and rise to the occasion is a different story.

Luckily, one male model/Youtuber/competitive eater is currently making his way through Oklahoma and stopped off to take on the 7 Pound Deep Dish Challenge at Pizza Corral in Elgin.

If you haven't been to Pizza Corral, what is taking you so long to venture out of Lawton's fast food chain utopia? It's a small mom-and-pop pizzeria along the main street/highway that runs through Lawton's neighboring town.

First off, it has all the charm of every small and independent restaurant you'd expect with locally sourced t-shirts and swag plus some pretty radical pizza. If you can think it up, odds are they'll make it. Have you ever heard of pickle pizza? They even have their own massive pizza food challenge.

Back on topic, Joel Hansen is a male model turned competitive eater with a YouTube channel that proves he's got an iron gut. It's amazing he stays in such good shape with everything he stuffs down his gullet.

Video after video, Joel manages to take on the seemingly impossible odds to complete food challenge after challenge.

The rules of Pizza Corral's challenge is as follows:

The pizza is a deep dish that weighs seven pounds.
You must choose supreme or meat lovers.
You must singlehandedly eat it in thirty minutes or less to win.
Winners get the pizza for free plus $250 cash.
If you don't win, you have to pay for the pizza.

Since everyone is so tight-lipped about the results, there's no honor in spoiling the fun, we'll all just have to wait until the video publishes on Joel's YouTube channel. If this pizza challenge is any clue, you already know what the likely outcome is.

Based on his sightings-vs-video release, he's running about four months behind. We'll be expecting his Pizza Corral video in October/November.
