June 15th Ordinary Day For Most – Not For Me, It’s The Opening of Fireworks Stands Across the State!

Some people look forward to big sporting events like the Superbowl or the World Series. Others look forward to other days in the year like birthday's or holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas.

They are all great but today is my day! I wait all year for this one day to get here. I am worse than a kid on Christmas Eve. Waiting impaitently for the opeening day of "legal" sales of fireworks.

I know that there are others like me who have this same type of passion for fireworks. My wife has finally, after all these years, given in to the fact that I will be traveling around to various stands in a 5 county area to shop for the best deals. In fact I may even travel out of state this time to see what I can find.

I look high and low and long to put together my own fireworks display on Independence day. It is the one day a year that I can be a pyro and do it leagally with a smile on my face!

So on July 4th while others are busy getting ready for a BBQ or picnic, I'll be staging my arsenal of fireworks for a 9:30pm show.
