Kenny Chesney Was Too Shy to Sing in Christmas Pageants As a Kid [VIDEO]

Kenny Chesney makes his living performing in front of thousands of people in concert. So it's hard to imagine he was too shy to sing in Christmas pageants as a kid. But he was. He says, quote, "I think one time I held the star."

Kenny said, 'I never did show my face, I was holding the star throughout the night.'  All my other buddies were Joseph and Mary. Stage was the one place I did not want be on. I never got up there that much. Singing was not the top of my priority list in the Christmas play. I was pretty scared to get up there then. Glad he is now over his stage fright.
