One of the best weekends in Lawton has finally arrived! The 46th annual International Festival will open at 5 p.m. today at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton. The festival will continue through the weekend on Saturday and Sunday with live entertainment, food and more.

Lawton's International Festival is a celebration of the city's diverse culture. The festival begins with an opening ceremony and parade of nations at 5 p.m. today. The entire weekend is packed with live entertainment from local organizations and evening headliners.

The festival also features food trucks featuring multicultural cuisine and various shopping vendors. Other activities will be on site, including a rock wall and escape rooms.

The International Festival will host two stages that will feature live entertainment throughout the weekend. Local entertainment can be seen during the day and special headliners will perform on each stage in the evening. Music and dancing are some of the best ways to experience different cultures!

If there's a particular food vendor you want to see or a certain performer on a specific stage, then you can find the locations on the official International Festival map! The festival takes place in Elmer Thomas Park near the Holiday House and around to Lake Helen.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend in Lawton! And the best way to enjoy the nice weather will be at the annual International Festival. The festival is free and open to the public, and free parking is also available.

Parking is available on site, as well as in the parking lots of the Museum of the Great Plains and the McMahon Memorial Auditorium. A shuttle service will be available to take guests to and from the festival.
