Get Ready for Oklahoma's Premiere Rodeo in Lawton, Oklahoma

It's August, which means it's time for the Lawton Rangers Rodeo! This year's rodeo will be the 85th annual Lawton Rangers Rodeo, and it's one of the top 50 rodeos in the United States. So grab your boots and cowboy hat and be ready to head to the LO Ranch Arena August 9-12 in Lawton, Oklahoma!

According to the Lawton Rangers website, the annual Lawton Rangers Rodeo is "the largest Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo in Oklahoma, and ranked as one of the top 50 in the U.S." The rodeo sees nearly 50,000 people each year and has "more than 400 highly skilled cowboys and cowgirls from across the country compete in barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, and other exciting events."

Every night of the rodeo, the Lawton Rangers have special themes and entry deals. Here's what you can expect this year:

Wednesday, August 9 - $10 Carload - Everyone in the car gets in the rodeo for just $10!
Thursday, August 10 - Throwback Thursday/Pink Night - One ticket gets four people in the rodeo!
Friday, August 11 - Military Night - Be sure to wear your red, white and blue to support our troops!
Saturday, August 12 - Grand Finale - See who's the winner at the grand finale at the Lawton Rangers Rodeo!
