MacArthur Middle School Evacuated

A fire was reported around 7:30 this morning, causing the evacuation of MacArthur Middle school, located at 510 NE 45th street. The building was evacuated as a precaution after a small electrical fire broke out in the school's kitchen.

School officials report the fire was quickly extinguished and classes soon returned as normal.
