The old adage is "only roaches and Twinkies could survive nuclear holocaust." Which, odds are we might end up testing that theory in our lifetime... Until then, the science behind the humble cockroach will have to be conducted as best as we can. So naturally, one budding science bro decided to hook one to a weather balloon, and send it to the edge of the atmosphere just to see what would happen.

Now this experiment has been done before in America. Students send a German roach variety successfully to the edge of space and they all lived. The Curious Mr Five didn't have such luck.
