Get Ready For ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ With Oklahoma’s Dinosaur Hotspots
One of this year's summer blockbusters is expected to be "Jurassic World: Rebirth," which will hit theaters on July 2. The fandom for the "Jurassic Park" universe spans multiple generations, so to get the whole family ready for the newest movie, we put together a list of Oklahoma's top dinosaur hotspots.
Although they're extinct, dinosaurs used to roam the land of what is now Oklahoma. According to fossil records, Oklahoma was home to some the largest dinosaurs. And new research recently revealed that Oklahoma's state fossil is not what it originally seemed when discovered in the 1930s. So for those interested in dinosaurs and fans of "Jurassic Park," Oklahoma is full of ancient reptilian history and new discoveries are still being made today.
