
Parts of Oklahoma Could See Vibrant Fall Colors This Year
Oklahoma offers some great areas to view fall foliage, and with all the rains the state received this year, residents can expect those yellows, oranges and reds to be popping this season. Although Oklahoma won't see peak fall colors until later this fall, parts of the state could see some of the most vibrant fall colors in the country.
AccuWeather released their fall foliage outlook for 2025, and the Oklahoma panhandle and portions of northwest Oklahoma are expected to see some of the most vibrant fall colors in the country this year. The rest of Oklahoma is expected to see typical fall colors this season.
Oklahoma typically starts seeing fall foliage in October, but AccuWeather doesn't expect Oklahoma to see peak fall colors until early November. But a corner of northeast Oklahoma could see peak fall colors in late October.
