Get Ready Oklahoma; Severe Weather Returns Today
No one in Oklahoma is catching a break from the severe weather. Northern Oklahoma is already experiencing severe weather this morning, and southwest Oklahoma is expected to get its fair share this evening.
This morning, northern Oklahoma started the day with heavy rains, high winds and hail.
This evening, southern Oklahoma is to receive the same. This evening's tornado potential is low, but not ruled out, and we could receive hail up to baseball size (AGAIN) and wind up to 80 miles per hour (AGAIN). I don't how much more I can take of this...
Storms to start this evening and go into the overnight hours.
Looks like we'll have ANOTHER long night of watching the weather. Storms could start ramping up on western Oklahoma as early as 5 p.m. and ending by midnight. In Lawton, we might not see storms start until 8 p.m. that won't end till 2 a.m. Thursday.
On top of all that, we're in another heat advisory today.
Obviously mother nature is not happy with Oklahoma. We've been pummeled and cooked all within less than a week.
Stay inside away from the heat and storms today!
Make sure you're keeping cool and staying safe from the storms today. And be sure you're following the National Weather Service in Norman on Facebook and Twitter.
