Oklahoma Will Experience Temperature Roller Coaster This Week
December has already brought in some chilly temperatures to Oklahoma. And it looks like Oklahoma will do what it does best this week by having cold and warm days back-to-back.
According to the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma will experience a "temperature roller coaster" this week. Today, Tuesday, Dec. 3, will be a cool day with daytime high temperatures in the low 50s. But Wednesday, Dec. 4 is expected to be much warmer with daytime highs in the low 60s.
Colder weather is expected to return Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6 thanks to a cold front. But a warming trend will return to Oklahoma by the weekend before another cold front drops temperatures next week.
The weather this weekend in Oklahoma will be perfect for getting out and enjoying various holiday festivities and even to go Christmas shopping. Day time highs on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be in the low 60s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s, which may make walking through one of Oklahoma's multiple holiday light displays more tolerable.
And it doesn't look like there's much rain in the forecast throughout the week and weekend!
What will the weather be in Oklahoma on Christmas?
