Old Dominion Prove There’s ‘No Such Thing as a Broken Heart’ at 2017 ACM Awards
Old Dominion brought their new single, “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart,” to the 2017 ACM Awards stage on Sunday night (April 2).
Bringing their polished harmonies to T-Mobile Arena, Old Dominion rocked their latest single as fans cheered less than five feet away. "No Such Thing as a Broken Heart" is the first single from Old Dominion’s forthcoming sophomore album, the title of which has not yet been announced. The band's Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi, along with Jesse Frasure, wrote the song, which encourages listeners to live life to the fullest.
“No matter who you are, where you live or your current status, people both old and young face more challenges than ever. It’s in the face of those challenges and standing at the edge of fear that we have to remain positive,” Ramsey explains. “Focus on the light that comes from positivity instead of being swallowed up. Work hard at doing what you feel is right. Don’t be scared!! Live life like there’s no such thing as a broken heart.”
Prior to the 2017 ACM Awards ceremony, Old Dominion were announced as this year's winners of New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year. They're also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.
