Red River Craft Beer Festival Returns This Weekend In Lawton, Oklahoma

The Red River Craft Beer Festival will return this weekend! On Saturday, April 26, beer lovers can try several craft beers from all across Oklahoma at the Comanche County Fairgrounds in Lawton, Oklahoma.

The Red River Craft Beer Festival was an annual event hosted as a fundraiser for the Armed Services YMCA. The festival did not continue during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Armed Services YMCA decided to no longer host the festival indefinitely. Late last year it was announced that the Great Plains AMBUCS would take over the festival and bring it back in 2025.

This year's Red River Craft Beer Festival will take place from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Comanche County Fairgrounds' Expo Building. VIP tickets are $75 and get to enter the festival two hours early at 3 p.m. Saturday. General Admission Tickets are $50. Tickets can also be purchased for Designated Drivers at $10.

Festival proceeds will benefit Great Plains AMBUCS.

The Great Plains AMBUCS is a local chapter in southwest Oklahoma of the national AMBUS organization. The charitable civic organization has a mission to "improve mobility and independence in the lives of those with disabilities."

Proceeds from the Red River Craft Beer Festival will benefit the chapter by helping fund its various initiatives: donating AmTrykes, therapeutic tricycles, scholarships for students pursuing a degree in various forms of therapy, to build wheel chair access ramps and other projects that improve the lives of the disabled.
