As crazy as things have been lately and the price of gas and everything else skyrocketing you may, like myself, be trying to find summer vacation/staycation plans that won't break the bank. The family and I are planning on doing several smaller vacations throughout the Summer instead of one big one. We're finding places we can go to right here in Oklahoma that are quick and easy to get to and won't cost us a fortune.

Speaking for myself I could definitely use some time off the concrete to relax, unplug and unwind. Adventure Born Glampgrounds looks to be the ideal place for some much need R&R. It's located near the lake and mountains so the views will be incredible and there's plenty to see and do. Go on a hike in the Wichita Mountains, hang out at Lake Lawtonka maybe do some swimming and boating. Visit Medicine Park for a bite to eat and go to the aquarium. Check out the visitor's center in the mountains and drive up Mt. Scott.

Sounds like a great weekend getaway "staycation" the entire family would enjoy and we'll still have a few bucks left over to fill the car up.
