One Year Update, Original Article Below:

So here we are, one year later, and I still haven't seen a whiskey "tide" pod on store shelves. Granted, I haven't been inside a liquor store in the last year, but still, I haven't even seen these things online. Literally nowhere. Not on reddit, facebook, twitter, instagram, and I'm sure my nephew would have told me if he had seen it on TikTok.

I looked around the web, they're still apparently for sale in those little gelatinous pockets, but it's more or less caused a great debate among scotch fans. You see, there is only one legitimate way to enjoy a good scotch, and that's two fingers poured neat in a glass. No rocks for the hardcore uppity fans... no rocks needed as it tends to water down that super harsh and smooth burn.

Pretty sure The Glenlivet whiskey capsule is the latter. Not to bash on them for pushing new technology in an ancient industry, but pods? Really?
