"The Outsiders" musical brought the Greasers and the Socs to Broadway last year, and will kick-off its U.S. tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this fall. Celebrity Attractions recently announced the official Tulsa Broadway 2025-2026 season, and "The Outsiders" will launch its national tour Oct. 7-12 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

"The Outsiders" musical is based on the acclaimed novel by Tulsan S.E. Hinton. Set in 1967 Tulsa, "The Outsiders" centers on Ponyboy Curtis and his best friend Johnny Cade as their Greaser family goes head-to-head with the Socs, their affluent rivals.

"The Outsiders" story "navigates the complexities of self-discovery as the Greasers dream about who they want to become in a world that may never accept them." Through a dynamic score, the musical brings to life a story of family, friendship, belonging and a sense that there's still good in the world.

At the 2024 Tony Awards, "The Outsiders" musical was nominated for 12 Tony Awards, and won the award for Best New Musical.

This year, Celebrity Attractions Tulsa will host the "Stay Gold" Broadway Season at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The second show of the season will be the national tour premiere of "The Outsiders" from Oct. 7-12. Tickets are not yet available yet, but those interested can sign up to receive an email for when season tickets are available. After season tickets become available, tickets will go on sale to the public.
