This has to be the ultimate guide to Halloween candy trading. If you've been stuck with bad trades in year's past, or unsure of current values and proper trade etiquette you're in luck! Just hit play on this short video and you'll be up to speed and prepared for this year's candy haul and you'll be trading like a pro in no time!

We finally have some insight on the wonderfully challenging fast paced world of Halloween candy trading. Now I know what you're thinking "it can't be that hard, just trade what you don't like for stuff you do like." Well that's putting it simply, and that simply won't do. No there's a lot more to Halloween candy trading than that, there's a gentle art form to the exchange and the rush of knowing you got the better deal.

Halloween will be here before you know it and of course that brings the post-Halloween candy trade deals with friends, family members and hopefully a few unknown persons who are ignorant to the ways of expert trading. Maybe a co-worker, a friend of a friend, a neighbor or someone you kind of know. You can really increase your haul and get the treats you like most from these unsuspecting morons.

Now there are rules, both spoken and unspoken one must follow or you run the risk of burning bridges and spoiling a future trade because you screwed someone. You definitely want the upper hand at all times, but you don't want to leave someone feeling cheated or you'll run out of trade partners quickly. So watch the video, get some pointers and follow through for the best results.

Just throwing it out there, I'm not a chocolate kind of guy. I don't usually eat candy bars or other chocolate candies. I will certainly trade for Smarties, Starburst, Twizzlers and other hard candies. The current trade rate is 3 to 1 for everything, except Snickers those are a 4 to 1 trade ratio. Also Neccos are awesome! I use them as biodegradable targets at the range. You lick them and stick them to targets, back up and open fire. It's challenging at greater distances and tons of fun!
