Here’s What It’s Like to See Oklahoma Film ‘Twisters’ In 4DX

One of the standout lines from "Twisters" comes from Glen Powell's character, a loose-cannon tornado wrangler, that has a callback to his followers, "If you feel it, chase it." Most Oklahomans have felt what it's like to be near tornadic weather, and for some, it becomes an addiction, which is why we have storm chasers and films like "Twisters" in the first place.

So if you want to actually feel the intensity during "Twisters," then you'll want to get tickets to see it in a 4DX movie theater. According to the Regal Movies website, 4DX auditoriums are equipped with "motion enabled chairs, which create strong vibrations and sensations, as well as other environmental controls for simulated weather or other conditions, such as lightning, rain, flashing (strobe) lights, fog and strong scents."

Some people have taken to social media to document their experience of seeing "Twisters" in 4DX and the results are exactly what you'd think. People being thrown out their seats. Water and mist splashing everyone. And what's a tornado movie without a lot of wind?

Although, people cautioned that if you're prone to motion sickness, then seeing "Twisters" in 4DX might not be for you.
