You have all heard of physic hotline or maybe dile-a-joke. Maybe at one point in your life you mave have dialed a number that, well you know. How about a number where you hear a Christmas Carol?

Dial-A-Carol is back for its 53rd season. Dial-A-Carol is a student-run holiday program at the University of Illinois. Each year the students of Snyder Hall, a University Housing residence hall, host Dial-A-Carol, which was started in December 1960 by Betty Gordon, an area office secretary and the residents of Snyder Hall who wanted to spread some holiday cheer around campus.

Anyone from anywhere can call and request a holiday tune to be played over the telephone. Volunteers also sing to every 5th caller. Dial-A-Carol runs 24 hours a day for seven days. Last year it logged more than 4,000 calls from all over the world.  Dial-A-Carol  (217) 332-1882
