One of the biggest book sales in Oklahoma will take place this weekend in Pryor, Oklahoma! Booklahoma is an annual used book sale and is scheduled for Jan. 17 and 18 this year at the Graham Community Center in Pryor.

And if your New Year's resolution is to read more this year, then you will want to make plans to be at Booklahoma this year. It is undoubtably the best and most affordable place to get as many books from any genre that you can possibly imagine.

At Booklahoma, books aren't priced individually. All you have to do is pay $10 for a big paper Braum's bag and you get to look through the books and fill up your bag with as many books as your heart desires!

Booklahoma is a cash-only event and attendees are not allowed to bring their own bags. Once attendees fill up their bags, they are required to take them to their car. If attendees want to continue shopping, they can purchase another Braum's bag from event staff.

More information about Booklahoma is available on Facebook.

If you're interested in attending Booklahoma in Pryor, more details can be found on the official Booklahoma Facebook page. The page also has an official event page for Booklahoma 2025. So far, the event page has nearly 2,000 people that have responded!

Last year, my husband and I took a trip to Pryor to experience our first Booklahoma and it was one of my top trips of 2023! We are both booklovers and we both found several books for ourselves and loved ones. If you've never been to Booklahoma and you're an avid reader, I highly recommend you make the trip!
