Today we feature a fast rising singer and songwriter from Taylor Mill Kentucky whose future was evident early on, heading her own bluegrass band at age 11. It wasn't long until she received one of the ultimate backings in country music, performing at Dolly Parton's Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, KY.

Carly Pearce may be young, but she's definitely not a new comer to the country music community. Shortly after performing at Dollywood at age 16, Pearce moved to Nashville, almost immediately sharing stages with artists like Gary Allan, Florida Georgia Line and Hunter Hayes, becoming a regular at the legendary Bluebird Café in Music City.

2016 was definitely the year for Carly Pearce. She started out the year recording a duet with the Josh Abbott Band, "Wasn't That Drunk", which would climb to the top of the Texas Music charts. She signed with CAA Nashville for representation, ending up with opening slots on Abbott's tour as well as that of fellow new comer Kelsea Ballerini, also making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry May 30th.

By the end of the year, Pearce had been signed by BMG Nashville for publishing, and her name has become well known around Nashville. She was named one of Billboard Magazine's 10 Artists To Watch and also one of CMT's Next Women of Country. In January of 2017 she signed with Big Machine Records and entered the studio to record her major label debut album. The first single from the project is in our spotlight today. Carly Pearce and "Every Little Thing" is our Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
