Today's focus falls on a young singer and songwriter from Somerset, KY, now living in Lutz, FL, who is doing all that he can to keep his sound true to the country music that he grew up on, holding true to his southern roots.

Jordan Foster was raised in typical "Small Town USA" in south-central Kentucky, right in the heart of the Lake of the Cumberland region. He grew up living the true "country life", hunting, fishing and playing sports, while a true love of music grew. He started performing weekly at local venues around Somerset at a very early age, and began opening for acts like Lone Star and Daryl Singletary in his hometown while still in high school.

Jordan got his big break after being asked to perform on the morning show of his hometown radio station. The station, Z93 Country added his songs, "Worn Down Barn" and "Dancin' In The Headlights" to their playlist. And with the release of his debut album, Love In Kentucky, radio stations around the country are sitting up and taking notice of the youngster.

Today the spotlight falls on the second single from that debut album. Jordan Foster and "The Bed I'm Laying In" is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
