Today we focus our attentions on a band that isn't the same group that they used to be. Well, actually, they are the same, they just have a different name.

Originally known as the LoCash Cowboys, LoCash is made up of the duo of Chris Lucas and Preston Burst. Originally signing with R&J Records in 2007, the pair co-wrote Keith Urban's "You Gonna Fly" and Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah" while recording their debut album.

LCC released three singles and that debut album, LoCash Cowboys, through R&J, but when the company went bankrupt in 2013, the pair re-released the album through Average Joe's Entertainment, along with three more singles. The most successful of the singles from the album was "Keep In Mind", which peaked at #34 in 2010.

In 2014 the duo signed with Reviver Records, reviving their career and rebranding themselves as simply LoCash, releasing the EP I Love This Life. The lead single, and title track became the duo's first top-10 hit, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Country chart. The second single from the EP is in our spotlight today. LoCash and "I Know Somebody" is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
