The Comanche Nation Tax Commission is giving businesses located within Comanche Country notice that they need to be licensed, if they conduct business at establishments located on Comanche land.

Comanche Nation law requires a general business license for anyone conducting business activityon Comanche land or trust land, according to Raymond Nauni, tax commission CEO.

The tribe's tax law does not require a license for those who conduct occasional nonprofit fundraising activities or who create traditional Indian arts or crafts within their homes. Employees of business establishments don't need individual licenses.
