Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn ‘Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]
This week's Saturday morning K-LAW Classic was #1 39 years ago today - August 18th, 1973.
It was the third #1 as a duo for Conway Twitty & Lorretta Lynn. Their first two #1's each came in 1971 - "After The Fire Is Gone" and "Lead Me On". This hit was the title track from their 1973 album, which also featured cover versions of The Everly Brothers' "Bye Bye Love" and the standard "Release Me".
Check out this video of Conway & Loretta performing the song with what we can only assume is the Mississippi River in the background. It's the Saturday morning K-LAW Classic - "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man".
