Did You Watch The XFL Games This Weekend?

As the XFL kicked off their second inaugural season this past weekend, the action was pretty OK, but the announcing was hilarious. I helped my cousin put one of those TV antennas on top of his shop on Saturday, and we wrapped up that project just in time to let the ballgames play in the background.

I can't tell you how tickled we were hearing the announcers call the Houston Roughnecks by the wrong name throughout the first quarter. A play would develop, they'd get excited, hilarity ensued. A good weekend all in all.

Does this mean the XFL will be successful this time around? Probably not... but it'll be a fun to watch it in the mean time. College talent at NFL strength. What can go wrong?
