As the arctic blast moves in tonight, Oklahomans will see rain change into snow as the colder air settles. The moisture combined with the frigid air will have some areas Oklahoma experiencing just snow, a rain/snow mix or just cold rain. No matter how the water falls to the ground, roads Friday morning are expected to be slick.

Right now, the arctic blast is making its way south from Canada. Some areas in the country are already experiencing wind chills in the negatives with this arctic blast. This first round is expected to blow into Oklahoma sometime this evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Norman, colder and windy air will come in along tonight's arctic blast but even colder air will arrive Saturday. Dangerously cold wind chills are expected between -5 degrees and -25 degrees, especially Sunday and Monday. And Oklahoma could see another possibility for snow Sunday afternoon and evening.
