I have that entirely too damn excited, about to piss myself kinda feeling going on. We're talking virgin on prom night type anxious! The wait is officially over, we're finally going to see Godzilla Vs. Kong in all it's killer. kick butt, kauji glory! I've been waiting for this moment for seems like forever. Once the news broke that the studios were actually going to do the film, I've been on edge waiting to see it. This is going to be a true clash of the titans, no holds barred, anything goes, battle royale and the movie most fans have been waiting for!

Godzilla Vs. Kong has been delayed several times over the past year or so due to the pandemic. The release date was pushed back 3 maybe 4 times, but now we're finally going to see it! This is one of those movies you have to see on the big screen, the bigger the better. While I hated that the movie was delayed I think Warner Bros. made the right decision to wait until things improved and the theaters could re-open. Speaking of which, Vaska Theater in Lawton will be showing Godzilla Vs. Kong starting tonight at 5:45pm and again at 8:00pm. A movie like this really needs to been seen on teh big screen with super sound and an audience to share in the experience. Not to mention the fact that Vaska has the VERY BEST popcorn around!

The new film will pick up right where Godzilla King of the Monsters left off. We're all anxiously awaiting the showdown, seeing these two heavy weights go toe to toe in a epic battle that's sure to change the Monster Verse forever. So who's your pick? Godzilla or Kong? I have to go with Godzilla, he's hands down my favorite Kaiju of all time! I just re-watched King Kong Vs. Godzilla awhile back. It was streaming free on Amazon.

If you're a fan of the old Toho films and Kaiju you'll love it. No spoilers here I won't ruin it for you if you've never seen it, and if you haven't check it out. Keep in mind it was made in 1962 so the special effects are dated along with everything else. Even so I just love these old Godzilla movies. I grew up watching them on Saturday night "Creature Features." So new or old Godzilla movies, I'm a fan of them all.
