There's an abandoned and hidden cemetery in Oklahoma that is rumored to be haunted by the spirits of outlaws. Back in the 1800s and early 1900s, it was a popular place to dump bodies and dispose of evidence.

So where exactly is this cemetery? You'll find it in Thackerville, Oklahoma which is located in Love County. It's about an hour and a half north of Dallas and two hours south of Oklahoma City, OK.

It's a really small town, with a population of around 400 to 450 or so. It may be small but it's home to the Winstar World Casino Resort. which is the largest casino resort of its kind in the world. In this same town, you'll find the near-hidden, abandoned Brown Springs Cemetery. It's down the road about a mile from the Chickasaw Smokeshop on Brown Springs Road. It's unmarked so you'll have to know where you're going or get directions. There's a lagoon nearby that was formed by a natural spring called Brown Springs. You'll have to hike or walk to the cemetery from the road, it's not accessible directly off the road.

The now-abandoned cemetery is rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of outlaws. Allegedly there are unmarked graves everywhere and the lagoon or spring was used to dump bodies in. Some say there are more unmarked graves and mass graves at Brown Springs Cemetery than headstones and proper burial sites.
