The Sooner State certainly has more than its fair share of haunted places and ghost stories. One of the most active paranormal hotspots is a museum located in Northwest Oklahoma where the ghosts of the past are apparently still present.

The museum was originally built back in the early 1930s and severed as a hospital for many years. It was later repurposed and is currently being used as a museum. This building has a very long and storied past.

The Cherokee Strip Museum has all kinds of amazing exhibits, displays, and historical artifacts for visitors to see and learn about. From Native American pieces to WWII items. Alva was once home to a Nazi POW camp.
