This has to be one of the craziest stories of 2023. A man was attacked at Sonic and stabbed through the head with a flag pole that still had the American Flag attached. Luckily the victim will survive his injuries.

The attacker Clinton Collins charged the victim and stabbed him with the flag pole under his chin, which came out on the right side of his temple. Reports say the victim will more than likely lose one of his eyes.

TPD posted the flag pole attack on their official Facebook Page

Witnesses of the attack say that Collings stated "That's what he gets. He deserved it." Tulsa Police Department quickly took Collings into custody at the scene and he'll be charged with felon maiming.

The Tulsa Fire Department immediately began working on the victim when they responded to the call. The flag pole had to be cut to transport the victim to the hospital. Emergency responders did an amazing job.

KFOR Oklahoma News 4 featured the attack on their newscast see the video below

At this time there are no details or known motive for the attack. Not sure either if the victim worked at Sonic. More than likely he did as the attack took place inside. It's a miracle that the victim survived and will recover.

News of the attack has been all over social media and news outlets. It was even covered by the New York Post. You can click here to read the article. This has to be one of, if not the craziest news stories of 2023.
