For as long as I can remember, the Oklahoma State Fair has been mainly all about the food. Granted, that was a huge trend and a major draw ten to fifteen years ago. Since they introduced chocolate-covered bacon... but the new eventually wears off of everything.

I won't be as bold as to say the new has worn off the Oklahoma State Fair, but they've been in desperate need of a change for a very long time.

Here's the good news, the OK State Fair isn't phoning it in this year. They actually have a bunch of new attractions and events that seem like they'll actually attract people back to the miserably hot middle of OKC. Honestly, some of these look amazing... like Oktoberfest in September.
