The Southern Belle is a railcar that was originally built back in 1905. It was in service and used as a passenger car from 1940 until 1969. It was a part of the Kansas City Southern Railway and in its time was known as the “Sweetheart of American trains.” It even saw service during WWII transporting U.S. troops.

Once it was retired in 1969 the Southern Belle was refurbished and rebuilt to be used as a restaurant by local train enthusiasts in Heavener, OK. They've managed to keep the memory of the Southern Belle alive and preserve this beautiful train car for all to enjoy. If you're a train buff you have to check out the Southern Belle.
