Looks like a classic 90's Disney song gets some Bowling for Soup love.

Keep Scrolling to Check Out the New Song from Bowling for Soup

For those who love Disney songs and pop/punk music. You may have thought those worlds would ever collide, but this is an official Disney product. If you're interested in streaming the album, it is officially out now on several platforms. For those interested in a physical vinyl copy, that is apparently shipping out on October 4th. You can preorder now from Barnes and Noble or Best Buy from what I see.

Bowling for Soup 'Friend Like Me'

Wichita Falls' own Bowling for Soup closes out the twelve track album with a cover of the Aladdin classic, 'Friend Like Me'. Give it a listen above and let me know what you think of the cover. Something interesting on the album is that only one movie got two songs and that would be Aladdin.

Yellowcard Covers 'A Whole New World'

For fans of 90's Disney movies, the album is mostly songs from that era. A few newer Disney movies did make the cut including Frozen, Encanto, and Coco. I would say though this album is for the 90's kids that spent their childhood watching these movies and their teenage years listening to these bands. Magnolia Park probably has my favorite song on the album with their cover of I2I.

Also in doing some research on Bowling for Soup covering Friend Like Me, I may have discovered one of the most random Disney albums ever.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Cover 'Friend Like Me'

Today I learned Alvin and the Chipmunks had an entire album covering Disney songs. We hear the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song every year, turns out they also had a Disney album.
